In Oregon – Police acting on a tip discovered four children, aged 3 to 11, along with about an ounce and a half of Meth in a home.  Five adults were arrested.

In Missouri – A tip to the state Division of Family Services hotline led to a home investigation and discovery of a Meth lab.  The investigating deputy found an acid generator, Meth-related chemicals and several containers with layered liquids. Three children in the home were taken into DFS custody.  Three adults were arrested.

In Arizona - A 19-year-old transient man accused of selling the Meth that sent four eighth-graders to the hospital pleaded guilty to a reduced charge and may get probation.  He was arrested two days after the students were hospitalized after taking the Meth at school.  He was accused of selling the drugs to one of the boys in a residential area and was arrested at a skate park. He faced a mandatory five- to 15- year prison sentence, but he struck a deal with prosecutors and now faces probation or a lower prison term.

In Tennessee - The Little Learners Day Care is closed, and its operators are in jail facing Meth manufacturing charges after deputies discovered components of a Meth lab in the facility.  The owner, a 36-year-old woman, held a state license to care for seven children, ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.   Authorities found children sleeping amid the odor of chemicals used to make the drug.  A Sheriff's Detective visited the home to investigate a complaint when he saw "three or more small children sleeping on the floor and in another room observed two or more small children sleeping on the floor."   The execution of a search warrant turned up a small amount of Meth and materials to make it.

In California – A 31-year-old man faces charges of involuntary manslaughter in the deaths of his twin 1-month old daughters.  Police said the death happened when the man fell asleep in bed with the babies and rolled on top of them. Police believe he was under the influence of Meth.  The suspect’s estranged wife testified that she observed him frequently using Meth.  A police sergeant testified that the man’s blood test results tested positive for Meth and a depressant.

In Utah - A woman is in jail for smoking Meth in front of her 20-month old baby.  Officers following up on a tip smelled drugs outside the apartment.   They found drugs, including Meth, in the baby's diaper bag.  The woman was booked on drug and child endangerment charges and the baby was put into state custody.

In Florida – Police investigating a complaint about a viscous dog noticed a chemical smell associated with Meth labs.  Their follow up investigation turned up evidence showing a storage area for Meth manufacturing chemicals. A man living in the home is charged with possession of Meth and probation violations.   A woman is accused of child neglect for allowing her 8- and 10-year old children live in what officers describe as “filthy rotten conditions…cockroach infested, feces on the floor and no food in the fridge”.   The children were put into protective custody.

In Tennessee - A 19-month-old girl was put into the state's Human Services Department’s care after sheriff's deputies found drugs in her home, including Meth next to her pacifier on a bookcase. Three adults, including the girl's mother, are charged with possession of drugs for resale, having drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.

In Oregon – A 36-year-old mother of seven children was arrested on accusations of drug dealing and child endangerment.  Deputies described the children’s home as filled with drugs, guns, garbage and dog feces.  The children, ages 3 to 17, were placed in the care of relatives.  Nearly 60 officers took part in the raid and seized 13 guns and a quarter-ounce of Meth.

In Indiana – When police raided a Meth lab in an apartment, they found a 14-year-old nephew of the main suspect.  The man is  is under arrest facing charges for Meth distribution.  He allegedly lived in the home with his girlfriend and child.

In Tennessee - A 36-year-old woman who is accused of making and selling Meth out of her daycare says she didn’t do anything wrong.  The woman and her 41-year-old boyfriend are charged with manufacturing Meth and reckless endangerment.  Authorities found suspicious liquids, paraphernalia, drugs and explosives in a search of the daycare.  Investigators also say dangerous residue was found on many of the toys at the center.  The parents of the children who attended the daycare center have been advised to have their children examined by a doctor.

In Arizona - A couple will serve at least five years in prison after pleading guilty to selling Meth from a motel room.  The County Attorney's Office has not determined whether to charge the couple in the drowning death of their 5-year-old daughter last May.

In Arkansas - A 24-year-old man and his 22-year-old wife face charges of intending to manufacture Meth. They also face charges of endangering the welfare of a minor after authorities learned the couple's 3-year-old child allegedly stayed in their home during the Meth manufacturing.

In Arizona – When sheriff’s deputies started searching a home suspected of hiding a Meth lab, they found dirty diapers strewn about and harsh chemicals sitting next to a loaf of bread.  A 30-year-old man who lived in the guesthouse behind his parents' home was arrested.  His 36-year-old girlfriend was arrested later. When police picked up the man, he had two of his girlfriend’s daughters with him in his van - a 2-year-old and 2-month-old. The infant tested positive for Meth and methadone.  The woman has eight other children.

In California – An 18-year-old teen, eight months pregnant and charged with selling Meth, pled guilty to charges as part of a plea agreement.  She was originally charged with possession of Meth for sale, possession of Meth and possession of marijuana.   Deputies serving a search warrant at her apartment found 1.2 ounces of Meth hidden in a container in the living room, a small amount of marijuana along with sales packaging and $600 cash.  Investigators believe the suspect was strictly a dealer, not a Meth user.

In Pennsylvania - Two men, 43- and 22-years old, and two women, 38- and 19 –years old, were arrested and charged with manufacturing Meth inside a trailer.  They were also charged with endangering the welfare of children who were in the trailer at the time.

Investigators found four pounds of Meth inside their home. After the child was examined at a hospital, he was placed into a relative’s custody.
