What to watch for at check in:
◊Pays cash, in advance, for
multiple days
◊Has no photo ID or credit card
◊Provides false information
about vehicle
◊A local resident
◊ Requests room close to ice
machine
◊Requests room with outside
entrance
◊Requests NO housekeeping
service
◊Unusual odors on guests or
belongings
◊Appears suspicious, nervous,
hurried
◊Looks disheveled with unkempt
clothing
◊ Have discolored teeth
◊More luggage than normal
◊Instead of luggage, uses
grocery bags, coolers, large plastic totes, boxes, etc.
Reminder: Not everyone who demonstrates one or two of these signs is
necessarily a Meth manufacturer. These are, however, signals to help you
and your employees be alert to other suspicious activity.
