MAPP-SD, a project of Prairie View Prevention Services, Inc., is a comprehensive Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project. 
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:
u   Increase awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and distribution;
u Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

Ditch Walk - Hidden Dangers

Information for Realtors, Property Managers, Landlords

Signs of a potential Meth lab in a motel room:

Lots of trash - cold tablet boxes, pop bottles and jars with unusual liquids, rubber tubing, empty bottles of engine starter, stained coffee filters, duct tape, etc, or:
No trash - a cautious Meth cook may remove any visible evidence from the room.
Strong unpleasant odors coming from the room, or an overwhelming scent of an aerosol air freshener to mask odors.
Bathroom vent runs continuously.
Tub, toilet or sink are stained with foul smelling and unusual colored materials.
Carpet or linens contain suspicious red or orange stains or sludge material.
