A bill presented by Representative Roger Hunt (Brandon) would have made it tougher for people charged as Meth dealers to remain free until they are on trial. Even though members of the House Judiciary Committee acknowledge the danger associated with Meth and its dealers, they killed the proposal. It would have required suspects who are charged with making or selling Meth to prove they are not dangerous or a flight risk before they would be allowed free on bond. From keloland.com |
