The
South Dakota Senate passed a bill aimed at reducing Meth manufacturing in the
state, but Governor Mike Rounds is upset that his proposal was watered down in
the process. The Senate removed a provision that would require retailers to
keep a written log of every customer purchasing pseudoephedrine-based
medications.
Rounds says the provision is vital to the state, and will ask the House to
restore that provision when it takes up the bill.
