Updated Meth Stats Released

According to South Dakota statistics compiled through HIDTA (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area), the first two months of the year were active in the fight against Meth.

From January through February of 2005, law enforcement responded to two lab incidents, arrested 97 people in connection with Meth and seized 313.907 grams (nearly a pound) of Meth.   HIDTA tracks information in selected counties throughout South Dakota and other states.  These numbers include only arrests and seizures in the designated counties.
