In British Columbia, Canada - Mounties intercepted a large shipment of ephedrine they believe was on its way to becoming Meth and ecstasy.  Officers arrested a 40-year-old man when he arrived to collect the eight cardboard drums holding 440-pounds of the key ingredient for cooking Meth.

In Oregon - A two-month investigation into Meth sales from an apartment ended with a drug raid.  Two men, 32- and 21-years old, were arrested.  Officers seized about an ounce of crystal Meth and nearly $2,000.  The two suspects face various Meth-related charges; one also faces counts of endangering the welfare of minors.  There were several people under the age of 18 in the apartment at the time of the raid.  Both men are being held
without bail on a federal immigration hold, with deportation possible.

In Ohio – When deputies responded to a call from a parole officer, they found components of a Meth lab. That discovery led to a Meth lab bust, confiscation of drugs and drug paraphernalia and four people’s arrest. Two children, aged six months and two years old, lived in the residence.

In Texas - Three people involved in a Meth-distribution ring were sentenced in federal court.  One, a 23-year-old single mother, convinced the court that she has changed her life around, and was sentenced to three years of probation.  A 22-year-old woman received a sentence of 21-months imprisonment.  A man
was sentenced to more than six years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute 1.4 grams of Meth, and five years in prison for using a firearm during a drug-trafficking crime.

In California - Police uncovered a large-scale Meth distribution and sales operation.  Detectives serving a search warrant seized six-pounds of Meth, several rifles (including two AK-47 assault weapons), five pistols and $2,600 cash.  Three people, all in their thirties, were arrested.
