In Texas - Driving with expired tags turned out to be a bad idea for a 47-year-old man.  After police pulled him over, the officer told the driver he was going to run a drug dog on the truck.  The passenger, a 35-year-old woman, told the officer she was “trying to quit Meth” but didn’t know of anything in the truck.  The dog ‘hit’ on the passenger door of the truck.  A search turned up a bag with a piece of foil with a burnt residue, several baggies with white powder residue, a set of digital scales with a thick white powder substance on it, a small spoon and two syringes. The residue field-tested positive for Meth.  The couple claimed their daughter had been in the truck and that she used Meth.  But the man did tell the officer that he had Meth in his underwear, and a search of the woman turned up a box for a syringe.

In Michigan A 19-year-old man already serving a prison sentence pleaded guilty to operating a Meth lab.  He claims he never sold the Meth - that it was just for his own personal use.  He is already serving seven years to 50 years for a crime spree spread across three counties, including felony charges of assault with intent to commit murder and first-degree home invasion.  Those charges stem from an incident in February 2006 when, police say, the suspect went into a woman's bathroom as she showered, smashed her head into the bathroom wall and sexually assaulted her.

In Colorado – An alleged Meth dealer was picked up with five-grams of suspected Meth.  The 34-year-old man was arrested in a motel parking lot when he drove up beside a police cruiser in a truck without a rear license plate light.  During a search of the truck, several baggies with the suspected Meth were found in a jacket pocket, and a digital scale was found in the truck.
