In Texas – A 41-year-old woman pleaded guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute 7 grams of Meth.  She faces up to 20 years in prison, but because she had no prior criminal history, the judge says she would likely have a sentencing guideline range of 24-30 months.  A 39-year-old man pleaded guilty to possessing with the intent to distribute 22 grams of Meth in his pickup.  He also was carrying three firearms. He faces up to 20 years in prison, but - following his agreement to forfeit his firearms, pickup and $20,000 to the government - the judge estimates that his sentencing guideline range would be three to four years. A 55-year-old man faces up to 40-years in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of Meth.   A 30-year-old man pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possessing with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of Meth.  He has prior convictions and has had his probation revoked in the past; he faces 10 years to life in prison.  His co-defendant, a 28-year-old man, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute Meth and to being a felon in possession of a 9 mm pistol.  He was also charged with possessing with the intent to deliver 114 grams of Meth.

In Tennessee - Sheriff's deputies serving a warrant on a man for a previous Meth lab ended up finding another one at his home.  The suspect tried to run, but a deputy grounded him with a taser.  Four other people, who were in the home at the time, also face Meth charges.

In Virginia - Federal agents bust a Meth ring in Virginia Beach when undercover officers raided a house.  It was part of a larger bust where a number of dealers were indicted in Federal Court.  The Meth was shipped to Virginia from California and the money was wired.  So far, 29 people have been sentenced as a result of this investigation.  The operation, in total, has netted over $900,000 in cash, 20 guns and 14 pounds of Meth.

In Nevada - A 27-year-old man was arrested for allegedly dealing Meth from a motel room.  After working with an informant, who made controlled buys for authorities, officers executed a search warrant on the suspect’s motel room. Police allegedly found a half-gram of Meth, 28 grams of marijuana, a Bible with a hole cut out of the center with a Meth pipe and directions on how to manufacture Meth.

In Georgia – After days of surveillance, police raided a home and found a Meth lab set up – but not yet in production.
Officers found the lab complete with chemicals and a fish tank ready for making Meth. Two people, 36- and 18-years-old, are charged with Meth manufacturing and possession of drug-related items.  The lab was described as big enough to cook Meth for personal use with some left over.
