In Illinois -
A 33-year-old man faces a charge of unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia with intent to manufacture Meth.  Sheriff's deputies had been looking for the suspect since a search warrant on his family's property last month turned up two anhydrous tanks and other items used in Meth manufacturing.

In Oregon – Authorities captured two suspected Meth dealers Thursday night, the fourth and fifth of the day.  Detectives learned that the two were expecting a big shipment, staked it out and caught the two after seeing them sell Meth.  Officers seized two ounces of Meth in the sting.  The arrest led to the men’s motel room, where officers found another five ounces of Meth and scales.  One of the men, 30-years-old, was released from prison about four months ago after serving 14-months on a different Meth charge. One officer says that the recent concentrated effort to crackdown on drug sales has resulted in 14 drug raids; the arrest of 26 suspected dealers; and the seizure of over ten pounds of Meth, 460 marijuana plants, ten and one-half pounds of marijuana, and over $43,000 cash.

In Michigan - Police found a small Meth lab in a house when they followed up on a tip.  Officers found items consistent with Meth manufacturing using the red phosphorus and iodine method. No one was arrested, but officials do have some suspects.

In Indiana - Two brothers-in-law have been sentenced to prison for Meth manufacturing.  The 48- and 47-year olds were arrested in a July raid of an old farmhouse.   Investigators found more than 36 grams of Meth and an active Meth lab. One man was armed with a semiautomatic handgun, and another handgun was found in his pickup.  He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.  The other man was sentenced to 20 years, including seven years served as probation.
