In Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada - Another Meth lab dump was discovered just a few hundred meters from a rural elementary school.  Four blue barrels were found in a ditch little more than a stone's throw from the school.  The waste was reported as students were walking to school.  A guard was put on the site to keep the public away and authorities planned to wait until school was out before removing the barrels.

In Montana - A woman who was carrying 300-grams of Meth in her car when she met up with an undercover officer last year pleaded guilty to a Meth conspiracy charge in U.S. District Court.  The judge ordered her held in jail until her sentencing in June. She faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $4 million fine.  Others involved in the conspiracy charges are waiting either for trial or sentencing.

In Texas -
A district judge is counting on the scared-straight theory for a mother addicted to Meth.  The judge granted the woman probation after she served just three months of a 10-year sentence.  She lost custody of all five of her children after officers found Meth-lab components in a diaper bag in her minivan.  She admitted to being addicted to drugs but blames an ex-boyfriend for her Meth-manufacturing charges.  The judge believes she will stay clean after the initial shock of being in prison.  She has strict rules and drug testing requirements for the next decade.

In Illinois - A man arrested for stealing anhydrous ammonia led police to a Meth lab.  The 24-year-old admitted to stealing anhydrous to cook Meth and told police that Meth precursors were in a microwave oven in the back yard of a specific location.  When police investigated, they found Meth making materials in the microwave and two gas masks, several cannabis pipes, and coffee filters with Meth residue inside the home.  A 27-year-old man was also arrested on a different warrant for Meth possession.

In Indiana - Police are seeking a tenant whose Meth lab caught fire in an apartment complex.  A sprinkler system kept the fire from spreading beyond the apartment and no one was injured.  When the fire was brought under control, firefighters found suspicious materials near the fire’s source and called police.  Officers found what appeared to be a Meth lab.  The tenant wasn’t in the apartment at the time.  Other residents of the building were evacuated overnight.
