In
Texas - A 49-year-old woman accused of driving a U-Haul truck while she was
high on crystal Meth was arrested on felony driving while intoxicated charges.
The suspect was seen "running into things" inside a store late at night, then
she drove a U-Haul truck to a nearby apartment complex, hitting several curbs
along the way, according to witnesses. Police report the woman was jumpy when
officers contacted her, involuntarily jerking her arms hard enough to fling a
ring off her left hand several times. Investigators searched the U-Haul and
found more than half an ounce of crystal Meth in her purse with an uncapped
syringe. She is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a state jail
felony, and DWI, a third-degree felony because she has two prior convictions.
In
Illinois - Six people were arrested on felony drug charges relating to Meth
manufacturing and conspiracy. The six men range in age from 17- to
30-years-old. The charges stem from when the defendants allegedly attempted to
steal anhydrous ammonia from a business.
