In
Arkansas Five people were arrested when officers found Meth inside an
apartment. The apartment complex manager called police about a burglary in
progress. When officers arrived, they found five suspects inside, none of who
were supposed to be there. The landlord told police the previous occupant had
just vacated the residence. Police found Meth, digital scales, plastic baggies
and a used syringe inside the apartment. The suspects, two women 41- and
28-years-old, and three men, 42-, 38- and 24-years-old, face charges ranging
from maintaining a premise for drug sales, Meth possession to residential
burglary.
In
Wisconsin A 20-year-old man was arrested for alleged possession of
marijuana and Meth after neighbors reported he was stealing items from his
mother’s home. He was picked up outside the home, and police found 13 baggies of
marijuana on him. He claimed he had permission to remove property from the
house, but police say he did not. Police then searched his home and found a
half-ounce of Meth and more marijuana. The man and a 20-year-old female
roommate were arrested.
In
Nevada The first boxer in Nevada history to test positive for Meth after a
fight was suspended for nine months and fined nearly 19-thousand dollars. The
ruling means he won't be able to fight in the United States during the term of
the suspension. The 30-year-old boxer was tested after
the fight
for the W-B-C flyweight title. He denied he had used Meth, which was detected
by urinalysis after the bout.
