In Minnesota A police sting at a hotel led to three arrests.  The men, 27-, 26- and 20-years-old, all face charges for allegedly selling Meth.  Officers used informants to set up a Meth sale at the hotel.  When police entered the room, they saw one man with a line of Meth ready to snort.  They found two more bags of Meth near him and a bag of Meth in his pocket; they saw another suspect throw a glass Meth pipe.  When officers questioned the first suspect, he denied knowing about the Meth and said that the "fairy godmother" must have flown down and put it in his pocket.

In Alabama A probation officer making an unannounced check at a home found a husband and wife, and their two-year-old child, at home with a Meth lab. The adults were both arrested, and face enhanced sentences for putting their child in danger.

In Montana A federal judge sentenced the leader of a Meth trafficking ring to 60 years in prison.  The 42-year-old man pleaded guilty in January to one count of distributing Meth within 1,000 feet of a public school, one count of carrying a gun while trafficking in drugs and one count of conspiracy to distribute Meth.

In Mississippi A former police officer pleaded guilty to two felony charges stemming from her federal indictment on drug charges.  She will be sentenced in July for one count each of possession with the intent to distribute and obstruction of justice.  Tips led to an undercover investigation resulting in her arrest on Meth charges.  According to investigators, she was in uniform and on duty while in possession of an estimated six grams of Meth when she was arrested.  The investigation revealed that she arranged, transported, received and delivered Meth around the area, sold Meth while she was on duty and was often under the influence herself on the job.
