In Kentucky A 25-year-old man faces dozens of charges following a fire in the bathroom of a motel room. Investigators say a Meth lab was the source of the blaze, which completely engulfed the bathroom in flames and created a tremendous amount of smoke.  Fire fighters found several chemicals in the room associated with Meth production.  The suspects had left by the time police arrived, but they had left identification that officers used to trace them. The suspect was arrested at his mother's apartment a few hours later.  He faces nearly 100 counts of wanton endangerment, arson and manufacturing Meth.  A woman who was also in the motel room received second- and third-degree burns in the explosion, but no charges have been filed against her.

In Alabama Agents raided a Meth lab and made two arrests.  In addition to the lab, officers serving the search warrant found Meth, guns and chemicals in the home. The suspects, a 40-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both face charges of first-degree drug manufacturing.

In Oregon Investigators served a search warrant at a home after receiving information that the 31-year-old woman living in it was dealing Meth. They found half a pound of crystal Meth, a substantial amount of cash, a handgun and a laptop computer that had been reported stolen. The woman faces charges of manufacture, delivery and possession of Meth, plus additional charges because her home was within 1,000 feet of an elementary school. When she was arrested, she was awaiting trial on charges of manufacturing, delivering and possessing Meth.  Those charges stem from a February indictment.

In Texas Two traffic stops landed four people in jail on felony drug charges. In one incident, a state trooper pulled a car over for speeding and noticed the driver, a 29-year-old man, seemed exceptionally nervous and smelled of alcohol.  The trooper also found some Ecstasy on the ground next to the car.  One of two passengers, a 30-year-old woman, admitted tossing the Ecstasy from the car.  The trooper asked for and received permission to search the car and ended up finding more than 400 grams of ice Meth, Ecstasy and marijuana.  The driver and passengers were all arrested on felony drug charge.  The second case also stemmed from a routine traffic stop.  A police officer responding to reports of a possible drunk driver pulled over a pickup truck that he saw weaving back and forth across the road.  A backup officer noticed a strong smell of burned marijuana inside the truck.  A pat down of the driver turned up a bag of marijuana in his pocket. The 23-year-old man was arrested and the truck searched.  Officers found a bag of Meth, rolling papers and a glass pipe in a leather bag in the console.
