In South Dakota Police responded to a call from concerned renters about toxic materials they discovered in their new home.  The tenants of the triplex home, who had moved in just a few weeks earlier, found the chemicals hidden in the garage’s rafters.  A clean-up crew was called to take care of the Meth lab remnants, but the apartment may not be a safe place for the new tenants to stay in until a thorough decontamination.  Authorities are tracking down the previous renters and testing the chemicals.

In Texas A dentist was arrested on his way to his office after
investigators had been keeping surveillance on his home.  He was stopped for a traffic violation, and investigators found a plastic bag in his possession. Inside the bag, they discovered approximately $1,000 worth of ice Meth. A search warrant executed on his home turned up glass Meth pipes, several baggies with Meth residue in them, and a set of digital scales commonly used to weigh Meth.  A 28-year-old woman in the home was also arrested on Meth possession.

In California Deputies arrested a parolee after allegedly finding more than nine grams of Meth, most of which was hidden in the engine compartment of his friend's car. The 33-year-old man was pulled over for not having taillights on the vehicle he was riding in.  Deputies searched the car and found 7.2 grams of packaged Meth in the engine compartment and two grams of Meth and a scale inside the car. The driver, a 28-year-old woman, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In New Zealand
While a 40-year-old man was waiting to go on trial for drug charges, he crashed his car because he fell asleep while transporting Meth equipment and chemicals in his car.  Another motorist was badly injured in the head-on crash, and the suspect was arrested on more Meth-related charges.  He has been sentenced to 4˝ years in prison, with a two-year three-month minimum non-parole period because of persistent and serious offending.  He has had 20 previous convictions and has also served time for being an accessory after the fact to murder for helping a man to hide after a stabbing death.

In Iowa Three people were arrested and charged with multiple counts of possessing and manufacturing Meth.
