Illinois - Flames from what police believe was a Meth lab explosion
injured two men and badly damaged a home. The men, 33- and 21-years-old,
suffered burns and smoke inhalation. When firefighters arrived on the
scene, they saw heavy smoke billowing from the single story home.
Firefighters determined the blaze started on the stove and turned the
investigation over to police. Officers believe the two men were cooking
Meth and that it flashed, causing the blaze. The men did not live at the
house, which suffered about $40,000 worth of damage.
