In
Kentucky - A 36-year-old man who was caught in the act of cooking Meth faces
more charges, including child endangerment. Two children, a 13-year-old boy and
an 11-year-old girl, as well as the man’s wife, were in the home during the
raid. When medical tests on the youngsters came back, the 13-year-old tested
positive for Meth. It is not clear if he ingested it by just being in the area,
if the man was smoking it around the youngsters or if they were in the lab while
it was cooking. The 11-year-old girl tested negative for Meth.
In
Arizona - Police were called to an emergency room to help with a patient who
bit a staff member. They found the female patient on a bed in restraints, after
having bit a registered nurse during an alleged crystal Meth-induced psychosis.
The RN had two small punctures that had broken the skin. The patient told
hospital staff that she had come to the ER because her neighbor is a witch and
had placed a bird in her refrigerator. She was released from the ER and booked
into jail for aggravated assault with a dangerous instrument and aggravated
assault on a health care worker.
In
Washington - The father of two of the three children found home alone
admitted that he smoked Meth while babysitting the toddlers and then walked away
from the house, leaving the children for several hours without adult
supervision. The man is the ex-husband of the children’s mother. The children
called 911 and both police and Child Protective Services staffers arrived to
find them unattended and drug paraphernalia inside the home. The youngsters
were taken into protective custody, their mother – who had gone gambling with
her current boyfriend - was arrested when she returned home, and the man who was
supposed to be taking care of the children was arrested after he returned to the
house. The mother faces child endangerment and drug charges after police report
finding needles, Meth and a Meth cookbook in a bedroom drawer accessible to the
kids. Her ex-husband faces child abandonment charges. The mother’s boyfriend
has not yet been found.

house. Officers found the Meth lab in the basement.
