In Iowa - A 38-year-old man was arrested for allegedly providing Meth to an underage girl. He faces charges of conspiracy to manufacture Meth and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.  When officers searched his property, they found Meth lab components in outbuildings. The added charge of giving Meth to a minor stems from allegations that he provided Meth and the means to smoke it to an underage girl.

In New York – Two men were arrested after an eight-month investigation into Meth production.  The suspects, 46- and 35-years-old, are accused of running a Meth lab in a mobile home park.  When officers executed a search warrant on the mobile home, they discovered an active Meth lab, some marijuana and three guns.

In New York - A substance abuse counselor at a state incarceration facility is charged with operating a Meth lab at his home.  The 33-year-old man was arrested after officers found the lab while executing a search warrant.  He worked as a drug counselor at the state facility since September 2005.

In West Virginia – State police who responded to a call for help from firefighters battling a structure fire ended up busting two Meth labs.  A 48-year-old man was arrested after officers discovered the fire was started by cooking Meth – and they found a second lab in a car parked nearby.

In California - Two sisters, 27- and 24-years-old, were arrested after a young child ingested Meth.  The one-year-old boy, son of the 24-year-old, drank Meth-laced water from a bong left within his reach.  The women rushed him to a hospital for care, but they are facing felony charges.  The boy was placed with child protective services.

In North Carolina – A 39-year-old man will serve between 5-1/2 to 7-years in prison after
pleading guilty to one felony count of  Meth trafficking. He was also ordered to pay a fine of $50,000.  He was arrested in 2006 after officers found nearly 40-grams of Meth in his home.

In Alabama
Five relatives who live across the street from each other are suspected in a Meth distribution ring.  So far, one 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged with conspiracy to distribute Meth and trafficking Meth.  Officials believe four family members assisted him, and they are also being held in jail.  During a raid, officers found five pounds of Meth in a bucket in the woods.  Authorities believe the 20-year-old got the Meth from Mexico or Atlanta and primarily supplied local dealers. One officer estimated the suspect and his family members put anywhere from five to ten pounds of Meth on the streets every week.  In addition to the Meth charges, a federal Immigration detainer was issued against the men; authorities believe they could be in the country illegally.

In Michigan – A 36-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman are accused of running a Meth lab in their home. They both face four felony counts related to the manufacturing of Meth – including making the drug in the presence of a minor.

In Minnesota – Officers searching the home of a suspected Meth dealer found a key piece of evidence.  On a bedroom dresser, police found a notebook with a sheet labeled "Debts to be collected," with slang references to drugs and phone numbers for people who owed money; they also discovered handguns and a rifle along with a digital scale and drug paraphernalia.  Officers began surveillance of the 32-year-old woman after she allegedly sold Meth to a confidential informant a month ago.
