In Minnesota - A 14-year-old girl says her drug-addicted father repeatedly prostituted her in exchange for Meth.  Her 36-year-old father, who lives in Wisconsin, has been charged with promoting prostitution, a felony.  The girl told authorities her father started trading her for drugs at age 12.  She described her father putting a gun to her head and threatening to kill her if she didn't comply.  The daughter described at least two incidents where her father smoked Meth in the same room as his friend forcibly raped her.  The victim said she had become pregnant twice. Her father drove her to a doctor who performed abortions and prescribed birth control pills.

In Missouri – Three men, 32-, 30- and 28-years-old, were arrested when officers caught them trying to dismantle a Meth lab.  Police driving by the house smelled a strong odor of ether and notified detectives who had been investigating reports of drug activity at the address.  The suspects were attempting to flush chemicals down the toilet when the officers arrived.  They are all charged with various Meth-related crimes.

In Montana - A 35-year-old man set to go to trial in federal court averted the trial by pleading guilty to Meth conspiracy and possession with intent to distribute charges.  He faces a mandatory 20 years to life in prison and a fine up to $8 million when he is sentenced in August.  His wife had testified in a co-defendant’s trial that the couple was addicted to Meth and would get half-pound deliveries of Meth from the other man.

In California -
Four children ages 2, 9, 12, and 16 were taken from their home when officers busted a Meth lab.  A 43-year-old man was arrested on multiple Meth charges, including manufacturing, and child endangerment.  Officers executed a search warrant after investigating information about Meth activity at the house. The children were placed into protective custody.

In Arkansas – State patrol troopers pulled over a car clocked at 102MPH on an interstate and checked out the three men in the vehicle.  The driver consented to a car search, and officers discovered Meth lab components, as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.  The suspects, 40-, 39- and 28-years-old, were all arrested on Meth manufacturing charges.

In Alaska
– A man who accepted delivery of a package holding 256-grams of Meth received a federal prison sentence of more than 12 years.  He was arrested after Postal Service employees intercepted a suspicious package and got a search warrant to open it.  When authorities discovered the Meth, police officers delivered the package to the suspect and arrested him when he opened it.

In Texas – Firefighters called to a Veteran’s Administration living center to investigate a strange odor found a person cooking Meth in one of the rooms.  The floor was evacuated while firefighters and hazardous materials personnel dealt with the small lab.

In West Virginia - A woman who returned to her home found two people inside and smelled a suspicious odor.  She called police, but before officers arrived the people inside the house ran.  Officers found Meth manufacturing materials both inside and outside the house.  In a separate case, a deputy discovered a Meth lab in a pickup truck pulled over for a traffic violation.  The driver, a 34-years-old, and his 23-year-old passenger appeared very nervous and acted suspiciously.  The discovery of the Meth lab components led to a search of a third man’s home.  There, officers found a sizable Meth lab, loaded weapons hidden around the house and a stolen ATV.  That man, 26-years-old, was also arrested on a number of charges.

In Massachusetts – Firefighters discovered evidence of Meth manufacturing after extinguishing a mattress fire at an apartment building.  Police got a search warrant and then checked out the apartment.  One man, 46-years-old, was hospitalized with burns on his face and hands.  Officers believe he is homeless and had been living in the building for a few months.  They expect to arrest and charge him with Meth manufacturing after he is released from the hospital.  Everyone who lived in the building were evacuated and moved to a local motel while health officials and law enforcement continue their investigations.

In Kentucky A man and woman landed in jail after police pulled over their pickup truck.  Officers found a fully functional Meth lab in a suitcase in the bed of the truck.  The two suspects are both charged with Meth manufacturing.
