In
Indiana – Police believe a woman they pulled over for speeding on the
Interstate was involved in smurfing for pseudoephedrine for Meth
manufacturing. The suspect was first stopped going 95MPH in a 70MPH
zone. Officers discovered the woman had a suspended drivers license and
fake vehicle registration. An ensuing search turned up 25 boxes of cold
medicine – 290 pills - in her pickup truck. They also discovered purchase
receipts from two different states. The 38-year-old woman refuses to
explain why she was transported that large a quantity of pseudoephedrine,
but officials say there is no reasonable explanation, other than Meth
manufacturing, for anyone to have 290 cold medication pills.

stemmed
from a dispute over the quality of Meth sold to one victim’s girlfriend.

the fight. They told officers that the dispute had started earlier at a
nearby convenience store where one of the victims confronted others,

suspects thought they were informing on them to police.
