In
Montana -
Two
men, 23- and 21-years-old, wanted to raise bail money for a friend, a
22-year-old woman, who was jailed on Meth charges. The men were busted for
manufacturing Meth – their plan to get enough cash to make the bail. All three
are now facing similar Meth-related charges.
In
Maine -
Police finally caught up with a 27-year-old man wanted in connection to a Meth
bust from months ago. The suspect walked out of a hospital in March where he had
been taken for a drug overdose, eluding police who were planning to arrest him
upon his release from medical care. Officers discovered him at a drug
rehabilitation center and brought him back to face felony charges. He was found
unconscious and unresponsive on March 7 when police were called to an apartment
for a possible drug overdose. A search warrant uncovered 60-grams of crystal
Meth in the apartment. The man slipped into a coma after taking a cocktail of
drugs, and was actually declared clinically dead at one point. After he
regained consciousness and recovered, he snuck out of the hospital. He faces
charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a
felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.
