MAPP-SD, a project of Prairie View Prevention Services, Inc., is a comprehensive Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project. 
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:
u   Increase awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and distribution;
u Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In Indiana - Six people were arrested when officers raided a Meth super-lab.  Sheriff's deputies followed up on a tip that concerned possible Meth activities on a property.  They reportedly found a massive Meth lab, finished Meth, marijuana and several weapons.  In addition to the six people arrested, officers are looking for the property owner, who they say left the scene.

In Illinois - A 39-year-old man was sentenced to nine-years in federal prison for his role in a conspiracy to distribute Meth. He pled guilty to an indictment that included charges of working with others to sell crystal Meth brought in from the western part of the United States and other Meth manufactured nearby. He was also ordered to pay fines and special assessments totaling $600 and ordered to undergo three years of supervised release after he is released. 

In Oregon – Police nabbed t
hree people during drug raids at two homes.  Police reported finding Meth and stolen property in the homes.  They have been have been investigating the two homes for about a month after receiving tips about a possible drug-dealing operation. 

In Idaho – A Sheriff’s narcotic unit arrested three men
for allegedly manufacturing Meth.  The suspects, 53-, 49- and 38-years old, were taken into custody after officers allegedly found Meth and the materials to make more from one suspect’s home.  Officers also found two jet skis that had been reported stolen.
 
In Kentucky – Police are searching for two 28-year-old men in a Meth investigation.  Three others – including a 28-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man and a 19-year-old man – have already been arrested.  The three are each charged with conspiracy to distribute Meth. The two missing suspects are believed to have left the area.  The investigation found that the two were cooking Meth every night, averaging about a half-ounce per cook. 

In Minnesota
A 37-year-old woman who was arrested in December with more than two-pounds of Meth in her home pleaded guilty in federal court to her role in a regional drug ring.  She entered a guilty plea to a single count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute Meth.  She was arrested in December when authorities uncovered more than two-pounds of Meth and several ounces of cocaine during a search of her home. In exchange for her guilty plea, two counts of first-degree drug crime were dismissed.  She is the fifth out of ten suspects who have pled guilty to some part of the Meth distribution conspiracy.  Four other people in the federal indictment have not yet been arrested.
