In Vancouver, Canada - Two men, 52- and 33-years-old, face numerous drug and weapons charges after a simple traffic stop.  Officers pulled over a pickup to verify the ownership of a motorcycle in the truck bed.  A police search of the truck uncovered a scanner, cell phones, two-way radios, 180 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of crystal Meth, 42 tablets believed to be ecstasy, a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun wrapped in newspaper, a loaded .38-calibre revolver, a loaded Luger semi-automatic 15-round magazine and ammunition.

In Indiana -
A 40-year-old man convicted of Meth possession received an eight-year prison sentence, with four-years suspended.  The defendant received credit for 540-days already spent in jail – meaning he will serve another three months.  He will also be on probation for four years after he is released from prison.

In Tennessee - Sheriff's detectives and federal agents raided a house and arrested a man for allegedly selling imported Meth.  The 38-year-old suspect is accused of selling two ounces of crystal Meth to an undercover officer; that warrant was superseded by federal charges of Meth dealing.

In Indiana – A police officer doing middle-of-the-night property checks saw a speeding car head into an area that has been the focus of several arson fires and drug activity in the past year.  The officer pulled up behind the car and found the driver, a 24-year-old man, standing beside it.  The officer picked up on the strong odors of anhydrous ammonia and ether near the car.  A look inside revealed items used in Meth manufacturing in the front seat.  The officer called for backup and a search of the area turned up an active Meth lab and a three-gallon cooler full of anhydrous ammonia within 50 feet of the suspect’s vehicle.  The man faces charges of Meth manufacturing and possessing anhydrous ammonia in an inappropriate container.

In Oregon - A routine traffic stop for speeding and lane violations led state troopers to a pound of Meth.  Troopers arrested a 33-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man after discovering a pound of crystal Meth and $17,000 in cash in the passenger compartment.  The two suspects face both Meth and money laundering charges.
