In New York - A 46-year-old man was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of receiving crystal Meth through the mail. He was also sentenced to one year supervised release and a $100 special assessment.  The defendant was picked up and charged in 2005 with having crystal Meth mailed from California to himself and his girlfriend.  They then distributed the Meth to others in the area. When authorities executed a search warrant at his house, they found Meth pipes, marijuana pipes, marijuana, scales, small baggies, telephone lists, USPS Express Mail labels and airline tickets.

In California – A law enforcement Gang Unit rounded up a suspect that took off from a traffic stop after officers found Meth on him.  The 26-year-old was caught shortly after running from the scene and was arrested on suspicion of transportation of Meth.   Later, the Gang Unit  served a search warrant on after hearing about drug sales taking place at a motel.  The officers found 5.6 grams of Meth packaged for sales, two digital scales and two loaded handguns.  Two men, 20- and 18-years-old, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Meth for sale and possession of firearms while under the influence, plus a gang enhancement.
