In California - Deputies investigating a tip that drugs were being sold out of an apartment complex began surveillance and saw a substantial amount of vehicle traffic at the scene.  They made four traffic stops and each ended with an arrest on suspicion of possessing narcotics.  The deputies gathered enough evidence to get and execute a search warrant on one apartment.  When they raided it, they found 13-ounces of Meth, $2,800 in cash, several handguns and a shotgun.  Two men, 26- and 23-years-old, were arrested in the bust.  While the deputies were taking them into custody, one of the suspect’s cell phone received more than 130 calls from potential customers.

In Kentucky – Officers busted an active Meth lab after getting a complaint about drug activity at a home. They found finished Meth as well as the materials to make more.  Six people, men and women ranging from 23- to 33-years old, were arrested.

In Nevada - A 27-year-old man was sentenced to at least nine years in prison after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter for his role in his girlfriend’s Meth-related death.  He was accused of injecting a toxic dose of Meth in 2006, taking her to the hospital after she collapsed and stopped breathing.  The coroner determined that a Meth overdose was the direct cause of the woman’s death.

In South Carolina - Two men convicted for dealing Meth face long prison sentences.  A 33-year-old sentenced to more than 21 years in prison; a 36-year-old received more than 12-years.  They were accused of making and selling Meth in three counties.

In Utah - A possible Meth lab was found in a Wal-Mart parking lot after store employees noticed a suspicious R-V parked in their lot for nearly a week.  The employees called law enforcement, and a sheriff's deputy discovered equipment common to running a Meth lab.  Officers are trying to find the owner of the R-V.
