Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project.
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:

awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and
distribution;

Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to
groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u
Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues
rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In
Oklahoma - Five people are charged with Meth manufacturing and possessing
manufacturing materials. The four men and one woman were arrested following a
routine traffic stop, when a search of the car and the suspects turned up a bag
of what turned out to be powdered Meth, several jars of liquid Meth, a needle
with Meth in it and a partially loaded .22-caliber revolver. If convicted of
all charges, each suspect faces up to life in prison.
In
Indiana – Police arrested five people after receiving a tip about a possible
Meth lab. An officer drove by the suspect home and smelled the strong odor of
ether. Authorities got and executed a search warrant, which led to remnants of
a Meth lab, syringes loaded with Meth, smoking devices, a small amount of rock
Meth and some marijuana.
