Kentucky - A Department of Fish and Wildlife officer noticed the smell
of ammonia in the air while he was investigating an abandoned vehicle and
called for State Police officers to check it out. They followed a path
into the woods and found an abandoned trailer being used as a Meth lab. A
39-year-old man showed up and after questioning was arrested on multiple
charges, including manufacturing and possession of Meth. In Tennessee - A county grand jury indicted three men on Meth charges. A 44-year old was indicted for Meth manufacturing after a deputy allegedly found lab components in a shed on the suspect’s property. A 34-year old man was indicted for attempting to manufacture Meth and possession of drug paraphernalia following his arrest inside a camper. An officer allegedly found Meth lab components both inside and outside the camper. And in a third case, a 29-year-old man was indicted for possession of Meth and marijuana. He had been pulled over for speeding and gave the deputy permission to search his car. The officer reportedly found a corner of a plastic bag containing Meth inside the suspect’s pocket and a bag of marijuana fell out of his pants leg when he got out of the vehicle. In Kentucky - Two men were arrested after police allegedly found ingredients for making Meth in their car. The two, 41- and 33-years old, are charged with unlawful possession of precursors to Meth. In Michigan – A 37-year-old man received a sentence of seven months in a county jail and three years probation after pleading no contest to operation of a Meth lab. He could have received a prison sentence of a maximum 10-years.
