In Ohio - Two men walking near a creek discovered and brought home what they thought was a tackle box. When they looked inside, they found a gas can with hoses and a substance they didn’t recognize inside it.  They called the sheriff's department, and deputies say the can may have been a discarded Meth lab, and the substance inside was an ingredient used to make it.

In California – Police pulled over a car for a code violation, and discovered the driver, a 27-year-old man, was driving with a suspended license.  They searched him and found two plastic bags holding a total of
21.8 grams of Meth.  He was arrested on suspicion of possession for sale of narcotics.

In Indiana – Police discovered a working Meth lab in a field after getting a tip from a neighbor.  They arrested a 30-year-old man at the scene on charges of Meth manufacturing.

In Louisiana – A coroner’s preliminary report lists a man’s suspected cause of death as inhaling toxic fumes from a Meth lab.  The victim’s landlord discovered him unconscious on a couch.  She called for help and the responding deputies immediately realized that the death might be linked to toxic fumes.  A narcotics squad called to the scene discovered the makings of a Meth lab; they believe the man, in his mid-thirties, was in the process of cooking Meth when he died.

In Florida – Police stopped a car in a fast food parking lot for a defective headlight.  A routine search turned up a loaded .44 Magnum handgun and about 1,351 grams – nearly three-pounds - of Meth.  Officers also found a Meth lab in the car.  A 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on a variety of Meth and weapons charges.
