In California – A police officer walked into a motel room to serve a warrant on a known felon, and ended up arresting three suspects, seizing about 57-grams of Meth and a 9 mm pistol.   The officer discovered the wanted man – a known gang member – along with another man suspected of being a gang member.  The officer called for support and while the suspects were being arrested, a woman showed up, apparently to buy drugs.  She also had an outstanding felony warrant and was arrested.

In Mississippi - Authorities arrested two suspects in connection with a Meth chemical explosion earlier this month that left a 9-year-old boy with critical burns.  The two men, both 29-years-old, face a range of Meth-related charges.  One suspect was out on bonds for felony possession of Meth, and possession of precursor chemicals with the intent to manufacture Meth.  The other had several outstanding warrants and was out on bond awaiting trial after an arrest in January on charges of Meth manufacturing.   The child suffered burns to his face and severe injury to an eye in the blast.
