Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project.
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:

Increase
awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and
distribution;

Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to
groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u
Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues
rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In
Mississippi - A property owner stumbled on a huge Meth operation
hidden deep in the woods and called authorities. Investigators found 16,
6-gallon ammonia generators, 21 gallons of camp fuel, 80 bottles of
crystal Drano, 50 pounds of ammonia nitrate and several hundred pounds of
trash. They estimate that the lab could produce several pounds of Meth.
In
Hawaii - A suspected Meth dealer was arrested at an illegal gaming
operation in an apartment. The 34-year-old man is charged with
first-degree promotion of a dangerous drug. The arresting officers said
they seized about two ounces of crystal Meth at the gambling operation
along with five 25-cent slot-type machines.
