MAPP-SD is dedicated to:

Increase
awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and
distribution;

Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to
groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u
Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues
rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In
California – Police who searched a home found
three-quarters
of a pound of crystal Meth, scales, packaging materials, two firearms and more
than $6,000 in cash. The two residents, 54- and 34-year-old men, were arrested
on multiple charges. One is a deported felon.
In
California -
A routine traffic stop led police to a suspected Meth lab. The officers
discovered the driver
had two
outstanding warrants. A search of his home turned up Meth manufacturing
materials in the garage. Investigators say the suspect lived in an upstairs
apartment with his wife and two children, a five year old and a newborn, just
one month old. The children are with their grandparents while authorities
continue investigating.
