In West Virginia - State police arrested a 33-year-old man on charges of felony operation of a clandestine laboratory.  Officers say the suspect had 15-gallons of leftover chemicals lying around an outbuilding near his home, with a pit bull guarding the building.  The investigators also found equipment and chemicals to make Meth.  A 47-year-old woman found at the scene was arrested and charged with simple possession of Meth, marijuana and a prescription narcotic.

In Washington - A K-9 officer following a car that had a faulty brake light pulled the driver over.  The driver, a 45-year-old man, and his 39-year-old passenger started to get out of the car when the officer recognized the younger man from previous run-ins.  The officer called for backup since he knew the man had the potential to act violently against law enforcement.  When the 39-year-old began reaching behind the passenger seat, the officer drew his gun, not sure if the man was going for a weapon.  The officer’s K9 dog sniffed the car and alerted officers, who found 10-ounces of Meth in a bag that also held the 39-year-old’s wallet and ID.  The search also turned up brass knuckles and a large hunting knife.  The 45-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving with a suspended license while the 39-year-old was arrested for Meth possession with the intent to deliver.

In Kansas Police arrested a 27-year-old man, first on outstanding warrants and then on drug charges when they discovered the components of a Meth lab in the trunk of his car.  The car was in a motel parking lot.  The man faces potential charges including possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to manufacture Meth.  His arrest led to the arrest of a 24-year-old woman on charges of Meth possession and possession of ephedrine.

In Tennessee -
A 14-year-old boy stumbled upon a Meth lab while playing in the woods near an apartment complex.  Officers who responded to the scene describe it as a large red phosphorous Meth lab.  While they did not have any immediate suspects, they did discover bars of complimentary soap from at least one local motel.
