In California - An 8-month-old boy died after his mother accidentally cleaned his nose with a cotton swab used earlier to clean a Meth pipe. The woman called for emergency help, reporting her baby wasn’t breathing.  Paramedics found him in full cardiac arrest; he also had a fractured skull, broken arm and pneumonia.  The little boy slipped into a coma and never regained consciousness. His 27-year-old mother was arrested for investigation of felony child abuse.  Her boyfriend was also arrested on suspicion of abusing the baby. They may face additional charges following the boy’s death. The woman told police she used the cotton swab to clean the baby’s nose because it was itching.  She said she didn't know the swab had been used to clean a Meth pipe.

In Tennessee- Sheriff's deputies who accompanied a bail bondsman searching for a man who skipped his court date on Meth lab charges found the 24-year-old suspect, as well as another Meth lab.  Officers chased the suspect down and arrested him on new charges.

In Texas - A 64-year-old man was taken into custody after barricading himself inside his home with a small arsenal of firearms. He was arrested on suspicion of discharging a weapon within the city limits, but may also face charges related to Meth and marijuana officers found in his home.  Police seized six rifles, a shotgun and two handguns from his home as well.
