In
Kansas - Someone reportedly set fire to part of a Meth lab in front of a
home. Trash also was dumped and burned on the property. The home’s resident, a
71-year-old man, called police about the fire, but couldn’t offer any
descriptions of a suspect.
In
California – Probation officers served a search warrant on a 28-year-old
man’s home shortly after he returned from a drug rehab meeting. Inside the
home, officers discovered 29.3-grams of Meth, unused packaging materials, a
digital scale, a glass smoking pipe – and a drug and alcohol rehabilitation
business card that was used to scrape and weigh the Meth. The man was
re-arrested on Meth charges, and two other men at the home were also picked up
on suspicion of Meth possession.
In
Kentucky – Officials broke up a Meth operation after a long investigation.
Officers served a search warrant at a home and arrested a 55-year-old woman, her
33-year-old son, and an unrelated 28-year-old man. While police were at the
home investigating, several other people arrived at the house either bringing
ingredients for manufacturing Meth or looking to buy some. Three of those were
also arrested. When police searched the home, they found items and chemicals
used to manufacture Meth, including crushed and whole pseudoephedrine, some
finished Meth, and coffee filters with residue from the manufacturing process.
In
Colorado - Seven people were arrested and about 7-ounces of Meth confiscated
during a set of raids. Officers also seized three marijuana plants, three guns
and several knives. One of the suspects, a 27-year-old man, had a $1,000
contract out on his life. Deputies stopped to talk with the man at a
convenience store and reportedly found a loaded handgun, brass knuckles and Meth
in his possession. He was arrested on several charges. Another man, 34, was
arrested after deputies saw him leave a trailer home they were watching for drug
activity. He is charged with Meth possession, driving while his license was
suspended, criminal impersonation and a failure to appear warrant. The rest of
the arrests happened when officers went into the trailer home. The five –
ranging from a 17-year-old girl to a 24-year-old man – face charges of Meth
manufacturing, distribution and sales.
