distribution;

Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to
groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;

Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues
rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In
Mississippi – Police investigating a tip found a Meth lab and arrested three
people. A 25-year-old woman was arrested at the scene. A 29-year old man took
off in an SUV and officers chased him down. The suspect ran from the vehicle,
but left it in gear. The SUV rammed the front of a house, but officers did
catch the man. Police found Meth in his possession. He was on probation for
six felony Meth-related charges. Officers also stopped a 37-year-old man; a
search turned up Meth in his possession.
In
Iowa - A 36-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were arrested after
officers investigating smoke coming from a garage discovered a Meth lab.
In
Kentucky - Three people were arrested after police busted Meth labs in two
rooms at the same motel. The busts started when someone complained to police
about a strong smell coming from rooms on opposite sides of the building. Two
people were arrested without incident, but one suspect saw officers preparing to
enter one of the rooms and ran away. He was caught while trying to get into his
car. The young son of one of the suspects was waiting in a car in the motel
parking lot when police arrived and was placed in a relative’s custody.
