In South
Dakota – A 53-year-old man will probably face charges of driving under the
influence of drugs and drug possession after he lost control of his
semi-truck and landed in a ditch. He suffered minor injuries in the
crash. State highway patrol troopers found Meth and drug paraphernalia
when they searched the cab of his truck. They report the driver also had
a falsified log book. They were waiting for a blood toxicology test to
determine if the driver did indeed have Meth in his system. Information

Meth ring. Local and federal agencies, including the FBI, DEA and U.S.
Marshal's Service, spent two years building the investigation into the
distribution of ice Meth – calling it Operation Thin Ice. Officials say a
40-year-old man led the ring; other members ranged in age from
62-years-old to 21. During the bust authorities seized $24,000 in cash,
15 firearms and about 3.5-pounds of Meth.
