groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;

Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues
rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In
Iowa – A
23-year-old man was arrested for possession and production of Meth. The
investigation began last summer, when officers checked out a speedway and found
items for Meth manufacturing. Police then found more Meth-associated items in
the suspect’s apartment. He admitted the items belonged to him.
In
New Mexico –
25-people
busted for involvement in an elaborate Meth ring have started the court
process. The alleged ringleader, a 27-year-old man, faces 139-felony counts.
He allegedly had six coworkers stash Meth; nine people distribute it, and 15
users who may have sold it. The rest of the group faces charges ranging from
Meth possession to trafficking and conspiracy.
In
Iowa - Two men, 44- and 41-years-old, were arrested after officers found a
Meth lab in an attic in the younger man’s home. They face charges of conspiracy
to manufacture Meth.
In
Tennessee - A
41-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman are charged with promoting the
manufacture of Meth. Police arrested them at their home after investigating
tips about drug activity. Officers noticed the strong chemical smell associated
with Meth labs and received the couple’s permission to search the house. They
allegedly found several Meth lab components at the rear of the house, and the
man gave a written statement admitting that he had allowed another individual to
operate a Meth lab at his home while he was present. Officers believe the other
man involved loaded the remainder of the lab into a car and left just prior to
the police arrival.
