In Oregon - Sheriff's deputies arrested a 22-year-old man after finding Meth when they searched his backpack. The suspect granted officers permission to look in his backpack while they were questioning him on the Interstate.  Besides the Meth, they found a digital scale and several small plastic baggies for packaging Meth.  Deputies also found a glass Meth pipe hidden in the man’s sock.

In South Carolina - Police discovered a Meth lab in a home after responding to an unrelated call.  When the officers arrived at a house they saw items indicating a Meth lab and called in a HazMat crew to take care of it.  No one was injured, although some police officers were treated for possible exposure to hazardous materials.  Five people were arrested.

In Indiana – A 26-year-old man faces felony charges of Meth possession and dealing and cocaine possession.  State troopers pulled him over for speeding and felt the suspect was acting suspiciously.  A K-9 unit responded and the drug dog alerted officers to the presence of narcotics.  When they searched the minivan, they found nearly five-pounds of crystal Meth hidden in the rear quarter panels of the minivan, and about 3-grams of cocaine on suspect.

In Washington - Two simultaneous drug stings netted about $3,400 worth of high-quality Meth.  The busts were a joint operation between a police department and a sheriff’s office.  When police officers served a search warrant at one home, they seized 32-grams of Meth, scales, packaging material and a sawed off .22 caliber rifle.  They arrested a 64-year-old man on suspicion of a number of crimes including Meth possession with the intent to deliver and unlawful possession of a firearm. While the police were executing their search, sheriff deputies served a warrant at a second home.  They recovered about the amount of Meth, scales, packaging material and more than $3,000 in cash. A 50-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were arrested at the second home, on suspicion of Meth possession with intent to deliver.
