MAPP-SD, a project of Prairie View Prevention Services, Inc., is a comprehensive Methamphetamine awareness and prevention project. 
MAPP-SD is dedicated to:
u   Increase awareness of Meth and the problems associated with its use, manufacture and distribution;
u Provide, at no cost, professional Meth awareness and prevention education to groups and organizations on a community, regional and statewide level;
u Be a no-cost, ongoing resource for South Dakota citizens to deal with issues rising from the manufacture, use and distribution of Meth.

In South Dakota Sheriff’s deputies investigating a theft from a business tracked information leading to a Minnesota woman and two Mexican nationals.  Officers found Meth, vehicles and $70,000 in cash.  The woman was arrested for Meth possession while the two Mexican nationals were turned over to federal authorities.

In Missouri - Three people, 29-, 26- and 17-years-old, were arrested in a Meth bust.  Police found the suspects inside a small outbuilding behind the home where the Meth was allegedly being made. 

In South Carolina - A 39-year-old mother and her 17-year-old daughter were arrested and charged with making Meth for the second time in two months.   The mother faces charges of Meth trafficking, manufacturing (third or subsequent offense), and two charges for illegal possession of prescription drugs.  The daughter is charged with making and trafficking Meth.  Deputies reportedly found the lab in the suspects’ home.  The two were among four people charged with Meth manufacturing in the same home in September.
