In Ohio - A drug raid led to a large Meth lab setup in a basement. Police also found five small children in the one-story frame house.  Police charged two people – a 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman - with child endangerment and with Meth assembly.  Three other adults who were in the house during the raid have not yet been charged. Police used a concussion grenade and had to ram and bust open the door.  Officers found some finished Meth in one bedroom and chemicals set up for assembly in the garage. In the basement lab, there was Meth in the process of cooking.

In California - A 28-year-old woman was pulled over for driving through a stop sign.  The deputy noticed the woman looked like she was under the influence of some type of drug and asked her about it.  She reportedly told the officer she had been smoking Meth.  A search of her car turned a half-gram of Meth and packaging materials.  The woman was arrested for driving while under the influence of Meth.

In New Mexico - A 42-year-old woman pleaded not guilty Meth charges stemming from a bust at her home in November.  During a search, probation officers and Narcotics Task Force agents found Meth in a soda can, marijuana and a loaded pistol. Several drug court clients who tested positive for Meth tipped off probation officers; they said they obtained the substance from the woman.  They allege she was cheating on her own urine tests.

In Tennessee - A 38-year-old woman is charged with child abuse and neglect after doctors found Meth in her child's system. The woman took her 21-month-old son to a hospital emergency room after his baby sitter said he was sick.  She agreed to
a drug test and tested positive for Meth. She told authorities she did not know how the child came in contact with Meth.

In Tennessee  -
The father of a woman accused of letting her son ingest Meth claims the woman was set up.   She faces charges of child abuse and neglect.  Her father believes someone intentionally spiked her beverage with Meth in an effort to take her child away.  "She told me, 'Daddy, why would I give my child Meth? That would be stupid,' " he said. "If she did that, I would prosecute her myself. I know my daughter, and she wouldn't do that."

In Pennsylvania - A 33-year-old woman was sentenced to three to 23 months in jail after pleading guilty to possession with intent to deliver Meth. She is also ordered to complete three years’ probation after she’s paroled from jail.  She sold a police informant Meth – and the deal was captured on videotape.

In Arkansas - A trash compactor station on was closed briefly after someone dropped off an apparent Meth lab for disposal.  Someone put a Meth lab in a compactor and released powder into the air. An employee was taken to a hospital with irritation to her nose and throat.

In Virginia - A police dog discovered a one-pound stash of Meth in a van police had pulled over in a routine stop.  Officers also found a 9mm-caliber handgun in the search.  It was concealed and within the driver’s reach.  The man driving the van was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute Meth, possession of drugs and a gun at the same time, and other charges, including traffic violations.
