In Kentucky A county jail cleanup crew discovered an active Meth lab in a plastic cooler while they were picking up trash.  The cooler was inside a black trash bag next to a tree line.

In Texas Sheriff's deputies seized Meth and thousands of dollars worth of stolen items in a raid of a home suspected of being a drug house.  The front door had four deadbolts and a bar across it, so deputies had to break down the door and go in through the windows.  In addition to $3,000 worth of Meth, officers discovered stolen police equipment, an assault rifle, four pistols, a variety of stolen electronics, a stolen motorcycle and counterfeit money.

In Tennessee
Police are looking for a suspect in a Meth lab case who may be tied to a sexual assault.  Officers found the remnants of a Meth lab on a secluded creek bank near the area where the sexual assault occurred about a week earlier. While they were cleaning up the lab, they spotted a man wearing dark clothes and a hoodie over his head nearby.  He fled when he saw police.  He resembled the description given police by the victim in the assault.

In Colorado Drug Enforcement Agents investigating a house came across two buckets filled with acetone and ammonia.  An undercover agent reported that someone at the house was trying to cook some Meth, but wasn't able to.

In California Police discovered a Meth lab inside a house and sent a 24-year-old resident to the hospital for treatment when he showed symptoms of exposure to Meth.  Three deputies who were first on the scene were also taken to the hospital.

In Oregon Authorities are seeking help from the public in finding a man they describe as armed and dangerous.  The 26-year-old is wanted on several charges, including Meth possession, theft, resisting arrest and felony attempt to elude in a vehicle.

In California Sheriff’s investigators are looking for a 31-year-old man who is considered armed and dangerous.  He was seen running with a handgun away from the area where a Meth lab was found.  Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect.  After he fled, he allegedly burglarized a home and took a handgun and cash.  Officers found 2.5 ounces of Meth and 18 marijuana plants at the lab.

In Oregon A mother and grandmother were arrested for possession of Meth, and three children were taken into protective custody.  Police made the arrests after responding to a complaint that children’s welfare had been endangered by drug use in a house.  When officers went into the small one-bedroom house, they found Meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, all accessible to the young children in the home.  The two girls, 9- and 4-years-old, and the 2-year-old boy were placed with the state Department of Human Services.  Their 25-year-old mother and 48-year-old grandmother are both charged with Meth possession, first-degree criminal mistreatment, endangering the welfare of a minor and maintaining a drug house.  The grandmother’s 44-year-old boyfriend also was arrested on similar charges and a probation violation.

In Alaska A 26-year-old man pleaded to attempted possession of Meth with intent to distribute.  He will face ten years to life when sentenced.  He admitted accepting a package sent to his home from California.  The package had about 256 grams of Meth hidden inside a gift-wrapped fondue set.

In Arkansas Bail bondsmen are searching for a 33-year-old man who disappeared the morning of his jury trial on charges of cooking Meth at his mother's home.  He left a note for his mother, apologizing and saying he "had no choice."  His defense attorneys learned about the note as the courtroom was filling with prospective jurors.   The judge ordered the bond company to produce the defendant, and the bondsman says they have been searching for him.  The company holds $30,000 in bonds for the man, who faces two sets of drug charges.

In Arizona A teen who was pronounced dead about 11 hours after he was shocked with a police Taser died accidentally from excited delirium associated with acute Meth toxicity, according to a medical examiner’s report.  Excited delirium is a controversial condition characterized by a person’s heart shutting down because it cannot handle a stressful event.  The 18-year-old had a history of drug abuse.  He was yelling and acting hysterically in January and was suspected of punching and robbing a woman before police zapped him with a Taser and restrained him.  The teen felt ill shortly afterward and was taken to a hospital, where he later died. His family said he had used Meth earlier in the day and had been showing abnormal behavior.  He had a small amount of Meth in his blood, and his urine also contained amphetamine and an antihistamine.

In North Carolina
Police acting on reports of suspicious activity busted a Meth lab in a residential garage.  Three men, 43-, 39 and 36-years-old were arrested.  In addition to lab materials, officers also found at least four grams of Meth.  Two of the suspects have prior felony drug-related records.
