In Indiana A husband and wife face multiple Meth charges after federal, state and county law enforcement officials served a search warrant at their home.  After a yearlong investigation, the 49-year-old man and 46-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of reckless possession of Meth, possession of Meth precursors, possession of marijuana and reckless possession of paraphernalia. When officers executed the search warrant, they discovered an active Meth lab inside the home. They also seized 80 long guns and handguns, ammunition, and surveillance equipment including cameras, computers and motion detectors.

In Nebraska A 37-year-old man faces up to 40-years in prison on Meth charges.  An indictment charges that he was in possession of more than 50 grams of Meth with intent to distribute.  The maximum possible penalty on the charge is imprisonment for five to 40 years to be followed by a four-year-term of supervised release, a $2 million fine and a $100 special assessment.

In North Dakota The lawyer for a woman found in her car with Meth and a naked baby last September tried but failed to get the charges dismissed.  The woman was supposed to be sentenced for two drug charges before going on trial in May for two child abuse related charges.  Her lawyer wanted all four charges dismissed, and claimed the state had no evidence of child abuse. The judge denied the motion and also denied a bond reduction.

In Tennessee Deputies re-arrested a man who was allegedly making Meth in a house that was first busted in November.  Police say he was violating his quarantine order just months after his first arrest for Meth manufacturing. A few days earlier, a couple was arrested for selling furniture out of a Meth lab at a yard sale.  Their home had been quarantined as a Meth lab on March 1st.  Now they face additional charges of violating the quarantine, reckless endangerment, and unlawful drug paraphernalia. The husband had been charged with manufacturing Meth.

In Illinois Deputies working at a Meth lab clean-up site found a six-foot king snake inside a zipped-up duffel bag. An officer said the snake’s presence was no accident but had been put in the bag with the Meth items to harass the police. The dumpsite was found at a cemetery in a rural area.

In Minnesota
A 21-year-old man is charged with allegedly possessing nearly two ounces of Meth.  An officer noticed the suspect driving a van and knew there were warrants out for his arrest.  The officer parked behind the suspect in an apartment's parking lot and stopped the man as he was trying to get into an apartment.  In one of the suspect’s front pockets, the officer found two large bags holding about 56-grams of Meth.  When officers searched the man’s van, they seized a stun gun from the front floor, a glass pipe and digital scale.
