In Ohio A 36-year-old man was arrested after a six-month investigation into an interstate theft and Meth distribution ring.  When police searched his home, they discovered four stolen vehicles, two stolen tractors, some stolen construction equipment, 18 firearms and various Meth lab components. The suspect is charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor theft. He is being held at Clermont County Jail on $100,000 bond. Investigators found Meth at the same address in a search back in 2003.  In 2005, officers who spent two weeks searching a barn built on land that had once belonged to the same suspect turned up duct tape, trash bags and a T-shirt that belonged to a woman who disappeared in August 1996. the woman’s former boyfriend is serving a life sentence in prison for her kidnapping and murder, but her body was never found.  The former boyfriend and the current Meth suspect were acquaintances.

In Indiana Police busted a home Meth lab and arrested three people, a 46-year-old woman and two men, 49- and 38-years old.  Officers went to the home to serve a drug warrant on one man, but saw the Meth lab in plain sight.  The woman’s 26-year-old son, who has Down’s Syndrome, was also in the home.

In Missouri Six men and three women were rounded up after a neighbor alerted police to a possible Meth house.  When police arrived to check out the report, one man ran out of the house.  Officers searched inside and found eight other people, and the materials for making Meth.  One of the people inside the house turned on nitrogen gas, hoping the police would cause a spark strong enough to ignite the gas.  Fortunately, the officers smelled the gas in time.

In California Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman hiding Meth in a crucifix in her home.  They were investigating the 42-year-old for selling Meth and during a search of her home, found 5 grams of Meth – some hidden in a crucifix hanging on her bedroom wall.  They also came across prescription medication and marijuana.
