June 6
In South Dakota - A man who was making and selling Meth while helping build an ethanol plant at Redfield has been sent to prison for five years.  He's one of seven people arrested in the case, and the fourth convicted. All seven were working on the ethanol plant.  The home Meth lab was busted after officers tracked pseudoephedrine sales.  From KELO TV

In Nebraska – A man pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of Meth, a felony charge that carries a possible maximum sentence of 1-5 years in prison and/or a $5,000 fine.  He was arrested in April after officers serving a warrant found paraphernalia and
a glass pipe with Meth residue.  His trial is slated for August.

In Iowa - A 21-year-old man received a federal prison sentence of 151-months – more than 12-years - for selling Meth. He will serve the full amount of time, because there is no parole in the federal system.  He was also ordered to pay fines and serve five-years supervised release when he is done with his prison sentence.  He was convicted after evidence showed he delivered a pound of Meth to agents.

In Arizona -
A 39-year-old man involved in a single vehicle car crash was spotted hiding things from his car in nearby bushes.  Police who checked it out found a container of Meth and several objects that turned out to be explosives.  The suspect was arrested on drug and weapons charges.

In California – Police arrested a 38-year-old man while he was allegedly delivering Meth – stashed in a Strawberry Shortcake doll.  The suspect had his 14-year-old son and 16-year-old stepdaughter with him at the time.  He faces charges of Meth possession, transportation and sale, as well as child endangerment and using a child in a narcotics transaction.

In Massachusetts – Police who made a routine traffic stop discovered Meth making materials inside the vehicle, along with what they described as a “large amount” of other drugs.  The driver was arrested and faces several charges.

In Washington - Officers responding to a domestic disturbance call discovered a suspected drug house.  They could smell marijuana coming from inside the home, so they got a court order to search the residence.  Inside, they found about a half-pound of Meth and a quarter-pound of marijuana.  A 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and Meth with intent to deliver.

In Colorado – Months of investigation led to searches of four homes, the seizure of thousands of dollars worth of drugs, firearms and three arrests. A 39-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were picked up on suspicion of drug distribution and a 20-year-old man was detained on an immigration hold. At one home, officers found approximately 8-ounces of suspected Meth and small amounts of cocaine. Some of the weapons found during the searches were a 12-guage shotgun, small-caliber semi-automatic handgun and a single-shot pistol.

In West Virginia - Sheriff's deputies from one county went out in an eight-hour blitz to investigate 36 tips about suspected Meth labs throughout the area.   They busted two labs and arrested three men – 52-, 38- and 33-years old. In addition to Meth manufacturing charges, two of the suspects also face three charges of child endangerment, because three children live within 150 feet of the Meth lab.
