In Montana - Drug agents uncovered an active Meth lab when they searched a mobile home.  A man and woman were held for questioning and will probably face Meth manufacturing charges once chemical analysis is complete.  When officers raided the home, they found a lab in the process of cooking about five-grams of Meth.  There were enough ingredients on hand to make about an ounce.

In Georgia – Officials raided two Meth labs and arrested five men.  The suspects are all charged with conspiracy to manufacture Meth.  Neighbors reports of strange smells from a home triggered the investigation.  Officers found a mobile Meth lab in one suspect’s car and the other in a mobile home.

In Melbourne, Australia A 37-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were granted bail after being charged with Meth manufacturing and trafficking.  They reportedly have both made admissions in regards to the charges.  Officials found a Meth lab in a bathroom in an apartment, where they also recorded high levels of toxic vapors.  The two were among six arrested in the raid.

In Virginia – Police arrested 17 people arrested on suspicion of a Meth conspiracy and trafficking in firearms.  An undercover police officer reportedly purchased Meth and illegal firearms from members of the group.

In Kansas – A 27-year-old man was arrested on charges including possession of Meth, DUI, open container and reckless driving following a multiple-vehicle accident. According to police, the suspect’s pick-up truck ran a red light and hit a car, then swerved into oncoming lanes and struck four other vehicles.  Three people were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

In Washington - A former sheriff's deputy admitted that he was in possession of Meth when police searched his apartment last February.  He was originally was charged with the intent to deliver, but pleaded guilty to the reduced charge of Meth possession.  The 46-year-old faces a month in jail, but when he is sentenced later in September the judge could grant him the option to do the time on work crew or work release.  He was arrested after officers found plastic bags of Meth in a safe in the master bedroom and in a black bag belonging to the defendant.  He shared the apartment with his girlfriend, who is scheduled for trial in November on one count of possession of Meth with intent to deliver.  The two sold Meth to a confidential informant before the apartment search
