September 19
In Colorado – Deputies recognized a driver as a man who had no driver’s license, the result of three DWIs within three months.  The officers pulled the 43-year-old over and found Meth and Meth paraphernalia on the man and his passenger, a 21-year-old woman.  The two are both facing multiple drug charges.

In Ohio – An officer pulled over a car in a routine traffic stop and discovered a suspected Meth lab.  One man is facing charges in the incident.

In Texas – An 18-year-old man was arrested for allegedly cooking Meth in an apartment near schools and parks.  He faces three felony drug charges associated with his Meth lab, which forced the temporary evacuation of dozens of other people.  The suspect lived with his grandmother, who says she was not aware what was going on. She does not face charges, but she has been evicted from the apartment.

In Michigan – A mother and father face second-degree murder charges in the death of their 20-month-old son in a suspected Meth lab.  The infant died of dehydration and malnutrition.  The second-degree murder charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.  The couple is also charged with felony counts including Meth manufacturing.   Police responded to the mother’s emergency call reporting her son was not breathing.  Officers found the boy with a significant diaper rash with oozing sores and in a diaper that had been soiled for a significant period of time.  The couple’s other child, a 7-year-old girl, is now living with relatives.
