In Georgia - A 36-year-old man was sentenced to 12 years in prison for running a Meth lab in a shed while two children, 17- and 8-years-old, played nearby. But the judge also ordered him into a treatment program, which could shorten his sentence. The defendant pleaded guilty to manufacturing and chemical endangerment of a child. He was also ordered to complete a treatment program, beginning as soon as it has an open bed.  If he successfully completes the program, the remainder of his prison sentence may be commuted to probation.

In Wyoming – The last defendant from an elaborate Meth ring that authorities busted more than a year ago received her sentence.  The woman was ordered to spend 30-months in prison.  She was the final person in court out of about two-dozen cases.  She was also ordered to enroll in a drug treatment program while in prison.

In North Dakota – Police pulled over a driver in a routine stop and discovered about 6-grams of Meth in the car.  The 30-year-old man and his 35-year-old passenger were both arrested. They face multiple charges ranging from felony possession, possession with intent to deliver and driving while intoxicated.

In West Virginia - State Police responded to a tip that someone was operating a Meth lab in a home where several families lived. An investigation turned up Meth and a Meth lab in one man’s apartment in the bottom floor apartment.  A family with a young child lived right above him.  The suspect was arrested and the child was taken to a hospital to be checked out.
