In Minnesota – When a police officer ran a routine license check on a car parked at a gas station, he discovered the license tabs came back as stolen.  The officer questioned the driver, a 46-year-old man, who admitted that he was driving without insurance on the car.  His admission was enough to justify a search, and the officer discovered more than 25-grams of Meth on the man, as well as a loaded 9mm handgun under the driver’s seat of the car.  The search also yielded three sets of license plates, two knives, a glass pipe and small tin - both with traces of Meth.  The suspect was arrested and charged with Meth possession with the intent to sell.

In Tennessee – A 26-year-old woman is scheduled for a December trial on federal Meth-related charges.  She was first indicted on charges of delivering a half-pound of Meth and conspiracy to deliver when she attempted a drug deal with undercover officers.  She left the area before going to court, and was then caught trying to cross back into America from Mexico, using an alias.  She has been ordered to remain in federal custody until her trial.

In California – An undercover operation ended with two men arrested and more than two pounds of crystal Meth seized.  The suspects, 38- and 27-years old, were taken into custody in a "buy/bust" operation.  They are being held on suspicion of having Meth for distribution, and will likely face federal charges.  If convicted, they could be sentenced to ten-years in prison.
